Create sparkly champagne cocktails just like what you see on social media! These cute, fuzzy cotton candy balls pack a glittery punch when dropped into a glass of champagne.

A white, rectangular plate topped with 8 small balls of cotton candy, in shades of blue, pink and orange. More blue and pink cotton candy sits behind the plate, to the right.

Ingredients for Champagne Bombs

  • cotton candy – any color works! I like matching the color of the cotton candy to the color of glitter that I use.
  • edible glitter – make sure it’s edible! I use this type, but anything labeled “edible glitter” or “luster dust” will work.

How to Make Champagne Bombs

Step 1: Flatten the cotton candy.

A hand is holding a small jar filled with silver glitter.
A hand is sprinkling blue glitter from a small jar onto a bed of blue cotton candy.
A hand is pouring pink glitter from a small clear vial onto a bed of pink cotton candy.

Step 2: Add glitter and shape into a ball.

A hand is pressing some pink cotton candy into the palm of another hand.
A hand is holding a ball of blue cotton candy between two fingers.

Step 3: Drop into a glass of champagne!

Two stemless champagne flutes are on a white surface. Both are filled with champagne. A hand is lowering a ball of cotton candy into one of the glasses.

They’re classic for a reason! Learn to make them from dark, milk and white chocolate.

Tea Bombs

In my attempt to “bomb”-ify every drink, I made a tea bomb with a sweet, sugar shell!

Latte Bombs

2 variations – a keto-friendly bomb using butter and coconut oil, and a mocha bomb made creamy with powdered coffee creamer.

Iced Tea Bombs

So vibrant and colorful! Add these to sparkling water or lemonade for a delicious and refreshing iced tea.

Champagne Bombs

DIY champagne bombs out of cotton candy and edible glitter. Pop one of these into your glass of champagne and give it a stir to watch it melt and turn into a swirl of glitter!
Course beverage
Servings 5 bombs

Equipment

  • iridescent champagne flutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cotton candy
  • 2 1/2 tsp edible glitter

Instructions

  • Take 1/5 of the cotton candy and gently flatten it onto your work surface.
  • Place ½ tsp of edible glitter into the middle of the cotton candy.
  • Wrap the cotton candy around the glitter and press it firmly in your hands to create a little ball. The warmth of your hands should help it maintain its shape.
  • Drop a bomb into a glass of champagne and enjoy!

Notes

These should be made within 1 hour of serving, as moisture can cause the cotton candy to melt!
