Colorful whipped cream molded into cute little bunnies! Add them to your hot drinks or to a stack of pancakes for an adorable, sweet garnish!
Ingredients for Whipped Cream Bunnies
- whipped cream – choose cream that is 35% fat. It will whip up best if chilled right before using!
- powdered sugar – adds a touch of sweetness and also make the cream a little more stable!
- colored fruit powder – this powder adds flavor AND color to the bunnies!
How to Make Whipped Cream Bunnies
Step 1: Whip the cream.
Pour the whipping cream, powdered sugar and fruit powder into a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
If the cream isn’t as brightly colored as you would like, add some food coloring at this stage.
Step 2: Mold the bunnies.
Spoon the cream into a piping bag and snip off the end to create a large, round piping tip.
Pipe the cream into your desired silicone mold. Smooth the surface, then place the mold in the freezer until the cream is frozen solid, at least overnight.
Step 3: Serve!
Gently unmold the cream. These can be stored in a plastic storage container in the freezer until needed.
To serve, place them in your hot chocolate, coffee or tea. Alternatively, sit them on top of a stack of pancakes or French toast for an adorable breakfast!
