Healthy Bubble Tea
Ingredients
Ingredients (each flavour makes 4 cups of bubble tea)
- uncooked tapioca pearls
- honey
Mango Bubble Tea:
- 1 fresh mango peeled and cut into cubes
- 1 cup mango juice
- 1 cup ice
- 1 cup milk
Strawberry Vanilla Bubble Tea:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries roughly chopped
- 1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
- 1 cup ice
- 1 cup milk
Matcha Green Tea Bubble Tea:
- ½ tbsp matcha green tea powder
- ¼ cup warm milk
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
- 1 cup ice
Instructions
- To cook the tapioca, pour the tapioca into boiling water. Boil, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Remove from the heat, place a lid on the pot and let sit for 20 minutes. Drain and coat lightly in honey.
- To make the slushie, choose your desired flavour and blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. For the matcha green tea flavour, dissolve the matcha powder in the warm milk, then add this to the blender.
- Spoon some tapioca into the bottom of a tall glass and top with your smoothie. Add a bubble tea straw and enjoy!
