Healthy Bubble Tea

Ingredients

Ingredients (each flavour makes 4 cups of bubble tea)

  • uncooked tapioca pearls
  • honey

Mango Bubble Tea:

  • 1 fresh mango peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 cup mango juice
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup milk

Strawberry Vanilla Bubble Tea:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries roughly chopped
  • 1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup milk

Matcha Green Tea Bubble Tea:

Instructions

  • To cook the tapioca, pour the tapioca into boiling water. Boil, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Remove from the heat, place a lid on the pot and let sit for 20 minutes. Drain and coat lightly in honey.
  • To make the slushie, choose your desired flavour and blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. For the matcha green tea flavour, dissolve the matcha powder in the warm milk, then add this to the blender.
  • Spoon some tapioca into the bottom of a tall glass and top with your smoothie. Add a bubble tea straw and enjoy!
