Mix together the water and granulated sugar until it feels like damp sand. Add a drop of food colouring if you like to turn them into any colour that you like.

Using a small spoon, press the sugar into any mold of your choice, pressing down very firmly. Allow them to sit in the mold overnight to dry out.

Remove the sugar cubes from the mold, and you’re done!
