Rose Cupcakes | バラのカップケーキ


Cupcake Batter
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 vanilla bean, seeds only
2 tsp rose water
1 cup milk
pink food colouring

2 cups unsalted butter, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp rose water
5 cups confectioner’s sugar
pink and red food colouring


Make the cupcakes:
1. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer until pale and fluffy. Add the sugar and beat until combined. Add the eggs, vanilla bean seeds and rose water. Add the dry ingredients in 2 additions, alternating with the milk. Divide the dough into 2 bowls and dye one bowl light pink. Add the pink batter to the white batter and mix 2-3 times until it is swirled.
2. Spoon the batter into a lined cupcake tin and bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes, until fully cooked. Cool completely.

Make the buttercream:
1. Cream the butter with an electric mixer until pale and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and rose water and beat until combined. Add the confectioner’s sugar one cup at a time, then beat for 3-5 minutes until fluffy.
2. Dye the buttercream a very pale pink colour. Place about 1/3 of the buttercream in a separate bowl and add a couple drops of both red and pink food colouring to create a rosy colour.

1. Place a large, star-shaped piping tip into a piping bag and spread the red buttercream onto just the sides of the bag. Spoon the lighter buttercream into the center. Squeeze some buttercream out until you see both colours.
2. Starting in the center of cupcake, pipe in a swirling motion until you reach the edges of the cupcake. It should look like a rose!

❤無塩バター(室温に戻した) カップ1/2
❤砂糖 カップ1
❤卵 2個
❤バニラ豆の種 1本分
❤ローズウォーター 小さじ2
❤牛乳 カップ1

❤無塩バター(室温に戻した) カップ2
❤バニラエッセンス 小さじ1
❤ローズウォーター 小さじ2
❤粉糖 カップ5


①小麦粉、ベーキングパウダーと塩をボウルで混ぜる。別のボウルでバターをボウルに入れ、泡だて器でふわふわになるまで泡立てる。砂糖を加え、よく混ぜる。 卵、バニラ豆の種とローズウォーターを加え、よく混ぜる。 粉類を2回に分け、牛乳と交互に加える。2等分に分け、1ボウルを薄いピンク色に着色する。白色の生地に加え、2~3回混ぜ、マーブル模様にする。

①バターをボウルに入れ、泡だて器でふわふわになるまで泡立てる。バニラエッセンスとローズウォーターを加え、よく混ぜる。 粉糖を1カップずつ加え、よく混ぜる。ふわふわになるまで3~5分泡立てる。
